Welcome to my website, which I hope conveys a professional and accessible service for accounting, bookkeeping and payroll.

I should first be clear that I am not a Chartered Accountant, but complement your accountant by keeping your accounts in very good order for their eventual attention, whilst saving on the costs an accountant might otherwise charge. (My Clients also include several Chartered Accountancy practices.)

For most of my Clients I operate on an ongoing basis, but I do also work on defined projects. With over twenty years’ experience, I can bring high levels of expertise, commitment and efficiency to your accounting, bookkeeping and payroll needs.

I hold Membership of both The Institute of Certified
Bookkeepers and The Institute of Payroll Professionals.

Prior to setting up several years ago as an independent resource for small and medium enterprises, my career included senior roles, both in-practice and on the client side. These included ten years running the Accounts and Personnel functions for a large enterprise within the Licensed Trade.

My costs are based on an agreed hourly rate, and I keep detailed timesheets. I’m equally happy to work with you at your business premises or at my own office, which is about eight miles west of Bedford.

Of course, confidentiality is a key consideration. I maintain close control of all Client data, and shred all paperwork where it is no longer needed. I’m also pleased to offer a Confidentiality Agreement for your added peace of mind.
