By choice I use industry-standard Sage accounts and payroll packages, (although of course Client companies may have chosen other software publishers). Unlike many practices, I prefer to use latest-version software, although naturally I retain all the necessary earlier versions to ensure compatibility as required.- Increasingly myself and my Clients use HMRC and VAT online filing systems where appropriate. In many instances there are still financial incentives available when one switches to online filing (although these will be withdrawn over time as this method of filing becomes mandatory).
- Similarly, I am fully proficient in the use of online banking systems, either through a Client’s portal or direct via a Sage program, and hold the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers’ Computerised Banking Diploma.
- I pride myself on building strong relationships with Clients’ Accountants, and am able to ensure that your Accountant receives all necessary information in the most efficient, and cost-efficient, form.
- I am happy to convert ‘hard copy’ books to computerised accounts - or indeed to maintain hard copy accounts if you prefer.
